Overview

Connect Jamendo to let your agent search and recommend music from a library of over 600,000 tracks by independent artists worldwide. All music is released under Creative Commons licenses — free to use with attribution.

Setup

Deploy

Dashboard → Integrations → Connectors → Find Jamendo → Deploy

Get a Client ID

Register an application at developer.jamendo.com to receive a free Client ID

Add to Agent

Agent → Tools tab → Add Tool → Select Jamendo, then under Custom Headers add:
  • Key: x-client-id
  • Value: your Jamendo Client ID

Using Tags

The search_tracks tool accepts comma-separated tags covering genres, moods, and instruments: 
User: "Find calm acoustic guitar music for a meditation app"
→ tags: acoustic,guitar,calm,meditation
Popular tag values: rock, electronic, jazz, classical, hip-hop, ambient, happy, melancholic, energetic, guitar, piano, violin

Notes

  • audio URL provides a 30-second streaming preview
  • audiodownload URL provides the full track download
  • Always check license_ccurl for the specific Creative Commons terms before using a track commercially
  • Add include=musicinfo to search_tracks to receive detailed genre, mood, and instrument breakdowns in the music_info field
