Connecting

In the dashboard, open Connectors, find Asana and press Connect. You will be sent to sign in; the connection is saved once that succeeds.

What you will need

Field	What it is
Client ID	Your Asana OAuth app Client ID (for OAuth 2.0)
Client Secret	Your Asana OAuth app Client Secret (for OAuth 2.0)
Personal Access Token	Your Asana Personal Access Token (for personal integrations)

Getting the credential

For personal use, generate a Personal Access Token in Asana Settings > Apps > Developer Apps. For OAuth apps, create an app at https://app.asana.com/0/developer-console and get Client ID/Secret.

Notes

A Personal Access Token is the quickest way in and is what this connector expects; OAuth apps are for multi-user products and are not needed here.
Most tools take Asana’s numeric GIDs rather than names — get_workspaces and get_projects are how you find them.
