Issues, teams and cycles, with an API key. The Linear server above signs in instead — use this to hold a key rather than a session.

Connecting

In the dashboard, open Connectors, find Linear and press Connect. The key you enter is checked against Linear before anything is saved, so a key that is refused never becomes a connection that fails later.

Getting the credential

Log in to Linear
Go to Settings → Account → API
Under Personal API keys, click Create new API key
Enter a name for your API key
Select appropriate scopes (read/write as needed)
Copy the generated API key
