Avatar videos from a script, with stock voices. A talking-head explainer without filming one.

Connecting

In the dashboard, open Connectors, find HeyGen and press Connect. The key you enter is checked against HeyGen before anything is saved, so a key that is refused never becomes a connection that fails later.

Create an API key at app.heygen.com under Settings → API
Paste it into the connector

Notes

Asynchronous, and slower than an image: a minute of video takes minutes to render.
Charged per minute of video produced.
Results are copied onto BoostGPT storage, so the link keeps working.

What an agent can do with it

Tool	What it does
`list_avatars`	List the avatars available on this account. Use one of these ids in generate_video.
`list_voices`	List the voices available on this account. Use one of these ids in generate_video.
`generate_video`	Generate a video of an avatar speaking a script. Get avatar_id from list_avatars and voice_id from list_voices first. Asynchronous: returns a video_id — poll get_video until the status is ‘completed’.
`get_video`	Poll a video started by generate_video. Status is ‘processing’, ‘completed’ or ‘failed’. Once completed the video is rehosted on a durable URL.
