Deploy Your First Integration

This guide shows you how to connect Gmail to your agent in under 5 minutes.

Go to Integrations

Navigate to Dashboard -> Integrations -> Connectors

Deploy Gmail Connector

Click Deploy next to the Gmail connector

Authenticate

Sign in with your Google account and grant permissions

Add to Agent

  • Go to your agent
  • Click the Tools tab
  • Click Add Tool
  • Select your deployed Gmail connector

Test It

Open the Playground and try:
Your agent will use the Gmail tool to send the email!
Your agent can now send emails! Try asking it to read, search, or compose emails.

What Just Happened?

  1. You deployed a connector - The Gmail connector is now running and connected to your Google account
  2. You connected it to your agent - Your agent now has access to Gmail tools
  3. Your agent uses it automatically - When you ask to send an email, the agent calls the Gmail tool

Available Tools

After connecting Gmail, your agent has access to these tools:
  • Send Email - Compose and send emails
  • Read Emails - Fetch inbox messages
  • Search Emails - Search by keywords, sender, date
  • Reply to Email - Reply to existing threads
  • Draft Email - Create drafts without sending

Using External MCP Servers

Want to connect a tool that’s not in our pre-built list? You can connect any MCP-compatible server:

Find MCP Server

Get the URL of any MCP server (e.g., https://mcp.example.com)

Add to Agent

  • Go to your agent’s Tools tab
  • Click Add Tool
  • Click Add New
  • Enter the MCP server URL
  • Click Connect

Test It

Your agent can now use tools from that MCP server

Troubleshooting

Make sure you’ve deployed the connector first from Dashboard -> Integrations -> Connectors
Re-authenticate by going to Dashboard -> Integrations -> Connectors -> Re-authenticate
Check that you’ve granted all required permissions during authentication
Some services (like Gmail) have rate limits. Spread out requests or upgrade your service plan.
